"Everything Is New" - Part 1

New town.  New neighborhood. New house. New college and hopefully new friends. Three hours now, Clarke was thinking about these five new things about her life. All the way she was staring outside the window watch the trees and the building that they were passing so fast with their car. And after that she was thinking about all the old things about her life.
Old town. Old neighborhood. Old house. Old college and sadly old friends. Old Life. Now she is starting a New Life. She has to… she has to follow her mother, Abby. Her mother is a doctor, a very good and talented doctor from Clarke’s eyes. Abby was working in a small hospital, 30 minutes from their house, their old house. Now she found a new jod, a better job with better money.
She had to accept that job since her husband, Clarke’s dad, died three years ago. They needed some extra money. They had to change their life for a better future.
These two words, new and better, is the best way to describe her life now. They only thing what worried her most was the new college. She will be the new girl. A new girl trying to survive the jungle that called college.
New college means new hallways, new classed, new locker, new cafeteria, new teachers and of course new classmates. For a first time Clarke was hating a word. But she have to live with everything new will come in her way, good or bad, she have to live with it.
Clarke didn’t say anything to her mum about all these thoughts. She changed after her dad died, and her work at the hospital was going from bad to worst and finally when the hospital closed Abby was staying at house all day every day. The past three years were hard for both of them. This is the reason they chose to start a new life.
Two weeks before they received the acceptance mail from the hospital what her mum applied. They didn’t even thought about it second time, her mum was working hard these two weeks to take care of everything, ready to leave for her new job, their new life.
Clarke never said no when Abby asked her to leave her life back and start again. She knew how much Abby needed to change her life and she knew how much she needed her daughter by her side. Not that Clarke could live without her mother right now, but even if she could, she had to help her mother get better, and this was the only way to make it happen.
She knew that the first months will be the hardest, but as long the two girls stay together they are not afraid of anything. Both of them are strong characters, ready to deal with everything that comes in their way.
All the way Clarke and her mother didn’t talk, both of them were thinking about their past and their future. Only the CD player that was playing music made this trip less boring.
“We have less than 15 minutes to our house” Abby broke the silence.
“Good, I can’t wait to see it,” Clarke said and turned to see her mother that was driving next to her. “And use the toilet!” she joked and smiled to her mum. Abby turned to her daughter and then raised her eyebrows. “What? I want to go to toilet at least 30 minutes now!” Clarke said as raised her shoulders near her neck.
“Then I have to inform you that the toilet is the third door to your left on the main hallway.” Abby said and turned to watch the road again.
“I have to remember this,” Clarke whispered to herself, “Thank you the information mum!” and looked outside the window again.
“What do you think about our new neighborhood?” Abby asked as the they have reached the start of the road to their house. Now she was driving slowly, so they can see their neighborhood.
A wide road in the middle, with big Oak trees in the sides that covered the road like a roof. Behind the big trees, are small gardens, some of them with fences some of them without, and small paths that lead to the door of the house. A large part of the houses had two floors and the others only one. Clarke managed to see in a small sign with the name of the road. Madison Street.
“So, what are you thinking Clarke?” Abby asked her daughter again.
“It is very beautiful mum! Everything is green… and beautiful gardens with beautiful houses… and the street has a very cool name, Madison Street,” Clarke was talking, steal starting outside, “I like it!” turned to see her mother.
“Thank you” Abby smiled.
“For what mum?”
“For trusting me” she said and turned back to the road.
“Always-” Clarke stopped talking and stared outside again. Now Abby had stopped the car, in front of a small but two-floored house. Clarke turned to her mother again with her surprised faces. “Is this our-” she couldn’t even finish her thought from the happiness inside her.
Abby shacked her head up and down sometimes, “Yes, our house” she smiled. “Our new house” she whispered.
“You are telling me that this, beautiful house, is our house?” Clarke asked her mother again.
“This is exactly what I am saying” Abby answered one more time and opened her door. Same did Clarke and both of them walked to the garden gate.

“This is our new home Clarke and here we will start our new life” Abby said and place her hand in her daughter’s back while both of then standing in front of their new house.
